Gastón Auguste (he/him)

Registered psychologist with the COPC (28486) and psychodramatist. I coordinate the psychotherapy practice Öpsicologia. Since 2015, I have worked therapeutically with individuals, couples and families living in different European countries.

I work from an integrative perspective, with particular attention to sexual and gender diversity, sexuality, chemsex, relationships, and contemporary emotional and relational difficulties. My approach is also informed by a sensitivity to migratory, cultural and linguistic experiences.

I am a member of the LGTBIQ+ Psychology working group of the Col·legi Oficial de Psicologia de Catalunya. I am also a trainer for the Agència de Salut Pública de Catalunya in the field of chemsex, and I have advised national and international institutions and organisations on the psychological and clinical care of people engaging in chemsex.

More about my professional background

I work with Serveis Clínics in the field of mental health, as part of an interdisciplinary team specialised in tuberculosis and directly observed treatment.

I also co-host the podcast Mariconsulta, focused on queer psychology, together with psychologist Oriol García. In 2022, I published the article Chemsex y psicoterapia grupal virtual in Intercanvis. I have also published three articles on online psychodrama and video exchange in La Hoja de Psicodrama.

I trained at the University of Barcelona and at Universidad Siglo 21, and I currently supervise my clinical practice with Florencia Macchioli.
